BOOK

Zaltman, G. (2003). How customers think : essential insights

into the mind of the market. Boston, Mass. : Harvard

     Business School Press.

This book has information on the customer. I thought this was a good choice because I know how I think but it would be good to see how other think. Because ultimately those are the poeple I will market to. It is also a current book and since the marketing world is always changing this book seemed the right choice.

WHY?

I chose my topic because it is what I think I want my major to be and it has to do with the creativity aspect of the cluster. Its interesting to me. I like how marketing is always changing and how creativity is a big part of it. It relates to my values because I value the freedom of choice, and in marketing its all about freedom of choice and coming up with the newest thing . It relates to creativity because you need to have different, effective ways to get your customers attention. Creativity is like being different having something different doing what you want being strange and thinking outside the box.
